To create a voluntary exchange program whereby primary age Indigenous children billet in a secular Australian family in suburbia for 1 weekend per year.

Primary schools in Indigenous areas partner with secular primary schools in larger metropolitan areas. Interested indigenous children register their interest in involvement and secular families register theirs. School element of program for 1 day of the visit where cross cultural information is exchanged in a learning environment and then 1 day with the host family being escorted around their home location. Host family co-contributes financially to the child's airfare and covers living costs for 2 days and government co-contributes to airfare and transfers to & from closest airport to child's residence. This program could really change the game for meaningful & lasting reconciliation between Indigenous & Secular Australians but even more importantly help indigenous & secular Australians to learn face to face about their fellow countrymen and experience some of the many life paths they may each take to make positive contributions to our shared future. The experience would leave a lasting impression on children and peoples on both sides of an entrenched divide.
