My idea is to remove restrictive taxes on domestic flights to encourage Australians to use domestic travel over international to help Australia's tourism. The fact that it is cheaper to fly to Bali than another state is ridiculous!
The idea would involve removing departure tax and airport service fees from domestic flights that are not transfers to an international flight. This gives Australian tourism a much needed boost from within.
